Terms & Conditions — Royal Plumb Fix 24/7Last updated: 17/11/2025Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services. By contacting us, booking an appointment, or allowing an engineer to attend your property, you agree to the terms below.
1. Services We ProvideRoyal Plumb Fix 24/7 offers plumbing, drainage, heating, and emergency call-out services across Northampton, Leicester, Coventry, and Milton Keynes.
- 2. Call-Outs & Availability
- Emergency call-outs are subject to engineer availability.
- We aim to attend within the estimated time given on the call, but this is not guaranteed.
- If delays occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- 3. Quotes & Pricing
- You will receive a clear written quote before any work begins.
- The engineer will explain the issue and the proposed solution.
- No work will be carried out without your approval.
Quotes may change if:
- Additional faults are discovered
- Parts required differ from initial assumption
- Access issues prevent work from being carried out safely
You will always be informed before any extra work is done.
- 4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept bank transfer, card payments, or cash.
- Deposits may be required for special-order parts or larger jobs.
Failure to pay may result in:
- Late fees
- Legal recovery action
- Suspension of further services
5. Cancellation PolicyYou may cancel your appointment by contacting us directly.
If an engineer has already been dispatched to your address, a call-out charge may still apply.
- 6. Guarantees & Workmanship
- All workmanship is covered by a 12-month guarantee.
- This guarantee covers labour only.
- Manufacturer guarantees apply to new parts.
The guarantee does
not cover:
- Existing faults not repaired
- Damage caused by the customer or third parties
- Blockages caused by misuse (e.g., wipes, fats, foreign objects)
- Frozen pipes or weather-related issues
If a fault occurs due to our workmanship, we will return and correct it at no cost.
7. Access to PropertyYou must ensure:
- Safe access to the work area
- Pets are secured
- The engineer can work without hazards
If access is unsafe, we may refuse to carry out the work.
8. LiabilityWe are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Issues caused by the age or condition of your plumbing system
- Consequential damage unless legally required
We will always take reasonable care of your property.
9. Customer ResponsibilitiesYou agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the issue
- Ensure someone over 18 is present during the visit
- Inform us immediately if the issue changes or worsens
- Turn off water supply if instructed
